The Indian version of Redmi Note 9 was the first to get the MIUI 12.5 update (with Android 11 as the base) a few weeks after the original update for Redmi 10X 4G was released in China. In the following weeks, Xiaomi released the same update for the other regional variants of the device.
Currently, the MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi Note 9 (Redmi 10X 4G) is available for the following regional variants of the smartphone.

The only regional variant that has not yet received this update is “Taiwan”. It is also expected that this version of the station will receive the corresponding update in the coming days.
However, even for the above variants, the latest software update is rolled out in a bulk process. This means that, initially, you will receive a percentage of all users first, and once it is verified that the ROM has the stability that the brand and users are seeking, it will begin to roll out to scale.
