With a commitment to promoting public health MexicoThe Minister of Health, Jorge Alcocer Varela, announced the provision of resources to 11,947 health centers that are part of the “La Clínica es Nuestra” programme, which forms a fundamental pillar of IMSS-Wellness.
For his part, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador explained in his morning press conference These funds will be used to rehabilitate, equip and maintain first-level healthcare centres, solving 80% of the population’s health problems.
“Our Clinic” is a program to provide direct support to health units operating in local communities and implemented through health for well-being committees, which form an essential part of the operational structure of these centers.
Al-Kosar pointed out that these committees are composed of citizens of the community, and they are responsible for knowing and evaluating the needs of health centers in terms of upkeep, upkeep, and equipment, so that resources are invested on the basis of that and supervising the proper functioning of things.
He also pointed this out “The implementation of this program seeks to achieve two main goals: to improve the conditions of the 11,947 health centers and to significantly improve the quality of care received by residents.”
As such, the program works on five basic principles:

- – Strengthening the local economy by building future family gardens and acquiring local goods and services.
- – Appropriate and honest use in the daily operation of the centers and combating corruption at all times.
Promoting public health in Mexico
Meanwhile, the Director General of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), Zoe Robledo Aburto, explained that 11,816 welfare health commissions have been created, representing 99% of the planned total. These committees will receive P5.087 million between Tuesday and Thursday of this week.
The governors of Chiapas, Oaxaca, Guerrero, Veracruz, Quintana Roo, Campeche and Tabasco, who communicated via video call, reported the delivery of 2,431 million pesos to those in charge of health commissions for welfare.
Robledo explained that 8,652 health centers with one office will receive 400,000 pesos; 1,527 centers with two offices for P600,000; 943 Three to five offices for P800,000; 403 out of more than six clinics, one million pesos and 291 health centers with extended services (Cessas) at a cost of more than one million pesos each.
Robledo explained that from now on, financial support will be provided through Banco del Bienestar cards depending on the size of the health units, in order to carry out maintenance and preservation work and acquire basic medical equipment and furniture.
