Google Drive is a tool that allows you to store your files in the cloud and organize them at your convenience. You can also share and edit documents with your online contacts, create presentations, spreadsheets, and more.

1. Shortcuts for your files
Instead of duplicating a file or folder in Drive that you want to be in more than one location, use Drive Shortcuts to add it to a new location. This will not increase the space the file is using. You can even rename, move or delete the shortcut and the original will not be changed. To create a shortcut, right-click on the file or folder for which you want to create a shortcut; select “Add a shortcut to Drive”; Choose the location of your shortcut and click Add Shortcut.

Hotkeys, i.e. combinations of keys that perform quick actions, such as “Ctrl + C” to copy, are everywhere in Google Drive. Use it to navigate the tool quickly and without having to use the mouse. 6. Link Shortcut
If you want to insert a link that goes directly to your Drive file, just select it and use “Ctrl + C” to copy it. Then go to wherever you type it, for example a Word document, and paste it using “Ctrl + V”. The file name will be automatically inserted with an associated link. On the other hand, if you only want the URL, use the Ctrl + Shift + V combination to just paste the link.
7. Archive without internet
For those times when you don’t have Wi-Fi, The chrome extension “Google Docs Offline” allows you to access your files without the Internet.
After installing the extension, go to Drive > Settings. Select the “Create, open, and modify the latest Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides” option on this device while offline. This activates the option, but then you have to choose which files will be able to use the feature. So you need to go back to Drive, right click on the file(s) and choose the option to enable offline mode.
