She is from Hong Kong, and he is from France, both of whom were looking forward to settling in Stylish apartment. That’s why they contacted Anne-Sophie Pailleret after she participated in AD Intérieurs in 2019 while on a trip to France. “Selected Charming and luxurious French style In my company,” explains the interior designer. Although the couple had lived for several years between Paris and Hong Kong, they finally decided to settle in the French capital to avoid constant relocations and gave carte blanche to the interior designer to design his department project.
This project was created in a very private context, implemented remotely in the midst of a global pandemic during which the couple was forced to remain in Hong Kong without the possibility of leaving the country. It was necessary for the designer to invest more than Eight months of work to completely redesign this department Hausmannian from a distance, as she had to be imaginative with the proportions of rooms and partitions to achieve large spaces and to communicate with the owners through calls. The apartment is approximately 2,500 square feet and now includes a large living room with a custom designed dining room opening to the kitchen, a spacious master bedroom, two bathrooms, a guest room and a family room. Exclusively dedicated to yoga and meditation.
color harmony
The main objective of the entire project was to focus on the color palette. Everything about the sample fabric is designed with Japanese motifsstylist Anne Sophie Pailleret adds, “The couple loved this bronze tone so much that we used it in various settings in aqua green, khaki and aqua green.” “I like to start small and gradually work towards the macro. Unlike other architects, I always start with simple details: a piece of work, a piece of cloth, an idea of a color or material, a work of art, a simple item….”
To balance these shades of bronze and green, they chose pink, brown, and red for the bedroom and one of the two bathrooms. What they are looking for is harmony and dialogue between colors, but not necessarily between materials: “I use wood and leather, Ceramicmany textures of different fabrics, stones, wallpaper, plaster, natural materials such as hemp, wood weaving, wallpaper, mosaic … In the end, every element that I use to create works visual harmony“.
