It’s been over a year since it was confirmed that Netflix will be making a new series based on Something is killing children, the popular horror comic created by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’edera. But unfortunately, the first update of this project in several months is not good.
according to twistingalthough the series Something is killing children It will still exist within NetflixMike Flanagan will not be involved in its development as writer and producer.
Flanagan himself confirmed this news and confirmed that it was all due to Netflix’s intentions with the title published by Boom! studios.
“With (something killing kids), we were on a good track during our operation, but Netflix decided to go in a different direction with this property.” Flanagan said. “So we don’t get involved in ‘Something Kills Babies’ anymore. We love James (Tynyon IV). We love the source material and we wish whoever ends up doing the best, but we’re not going to continue that.”
At the moment, it is unknown who will take the reins of this series or which direction the stream wants to take to tell the story of a world where monsters are real and only children and with a strange arrangement of hunters can see them.
