(TELEMUNDO ATLANTA). – Alex Asby, TV host of the Telemundo show “La Mesa Caliente,” tearfully shared her emotional experience of conquering the United States, where she arrived as an immigrant and faced moments of many sacrifices.
The 31-year-old Mexican gave her testimony when he was interviewed by Carlos Adian on the program “At Home with Telemundo”, where she told her success story.
“Tears are welling up in my eyes because I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved and what I’ve accomplished. I’m happy. I remember about five years ago I didn’t even have my dream job, I didn’t have a boyfriend, I had a credit card that owed a thousand, all wrong, and suddenly everything started going wrong.” Alright and today I am everything I ever dreamed of,” said Alex Asby, who could not hold back her tears of emotion.
“Alex Asby is a living example of an immigrant who came to the US to fulfill the American Dream,” and she made it happen, read an Instagram post from At Home with Telemundo.
Veronica Bastos, Mirka Delanos and Giselle Blondet, Alex Asp’s partners at La Mesa Caliente, also attended the interview, praising her ongoing efforts.
In her statement, Alex Asby, also a journalist, acknowledged that in her years as a college student she had “almost nothing to eat”, as Carlos Adean reminded her, but her effort and dedication led her to reap great achievements and to be one of the stars of Telemundo presenting.
One of her new challenges will be the joint submission, along with Carlos Adian, of Miss Universe 2023, which will be presented by Jackie Bracamontes and Cristian de la Fuente, as well as Andrea Meza as presenter for Telemundo’s digital and social platforms.
