Referring to images of the attack on Al Fakhoura School north of the enclave, the actor urged that “humanity must come first, and there is an urgent need for a ceasefire for humanitarian reasons at the present time.”
He said these clearly show a large number of women, children and men who were seriously injured or killed.
Türk expressed regret for the attacks on at least three other schools housing internally displaced Palestinians in the past 48 hours, as well as for the testimonies of humanitarian workers who arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital the day before, who described the place as a “dead zone.”
