After the conclusion of the group, the round of 16 matches have been decided and the World Cup will begin this Saturday as the remaining 16 teams battle it out for their place in the quarterfinals.
It should be noted that favorites like Germany, Brazil and Canada were eliminated, but surprise teams like South Africa, Jamaica and Morocco managed to make it to the top 16 of the tournament.
