Air France extends winter 2021-2022 schedule and returns to Fortaleza

Air France is extending its winter 2021-2022 calendar with as many as 182 destinations, 23 of which were not operated last year. This happens as a result of opening the borders of countries outside the old continent.

On October 31, the Airbus A220 will begin flying from Paris to Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Milan and Venice, among other European cities to be added in the coming months, including Bologna, Lisbon, Rome and Copenhagen. In this way, the new model will be launched with a 3-2 seat arrangement.

Here is a calendar of some of the itineraries that are planned for the upcoming 2021-2022 northern winter season:

Long radius of departure from Paris (Orly):

St Maarten: 3 flights per week from 4 December

Long radius, departure from Paris (Charles de Gaulle):
  • Zanzibar: 2 weekly trips starting October 18
  • Muscat: 3 flights per week from October 31
  • Colombo: 3 flights per week starting November 1
  • Banjul: 4 weekly flights starting from 1 November
  • Fortaleza: 3 weekly flights starting October 22
  • Mahe: 2 weekly excursions starting October 23
  • Cape Town: 3 weekly flights starting October 31
  • Hong Kong: One weekly flight from November 5
  • Seattle: 3 flights per week starting December 6
  • Port Louis: 1 day trip from 5 October

The last six cities mentioned in the roadmap have been reintegrated after being suspended at the start of the pandemic. Fortaleza, located in the northeast of Brazil, is a popular tourist destination for Europeans, as an alternative to other more famous places like Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo, among others.
