Miami – A GoFundMe account has been set up for the driver who died in a multi-vehicle crash on the 79th Street Causeway Bridge Monday night.

According to his family, Juan Andres da Costa Perotti was the driver who died in an accident near Pelican Harbor Drive.

According to his arrest report, Hall was traveling westbound on the road in a Lamborghini Urus at a “very high speed” when he made a left turn to avoid a rear-end collision with a Hyundai Elantra. The posted speed limit on the bridge is 35 mph.

Police said an “evasive maneuver” caused Hall to lose control of the Lamborghini and hit the Hyundai’s rear quarter panel, causing both vehicles to veer to the right and slide west toward the top of the bridge.

According to the report, Beiruti was ejected from his car and crashed into a street light pole, causing serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the Lamborghini continued to slide and spin, striking two other vehicles in the process, according to the report.

After being ejected, Perotti was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he died.

Authorities said the passenger of the Lamborghini was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution after suffering minor injuries in the accident.

According to the report, the arresting officer noticed that Hall was slurring his speech and smelled of alcohol.
