London artist Harry Styles was again subjected to an incident of harassment after a Brazilian fan sent 8,000 letters to his home in one month, the singer's legal team announced. This is the woman identified as Mira Carvalho, 35, who was taken into custody and allegedly sent messages between wedding cards and texts with samples of “sexual motives.”

According to the Daily Mail, the woman traveled from Brazil to London and stayed in a hostel in the Earls Court area to achieve her goal, after obtaining the residential address of the singer who, according to reports indicated by the media outlet The Sun, had “a negative impact on the artist’s usual daily activities.”

Accordingly, a judge sent Carvalho to pretrial detention with the justification that “the matter amounted to a stalking that caused serious anxiety or distress,” according to the Daily Mail, after the woman appeared in court on January 23. According to calculations, on average, a woman would send about 270 messages a day to meet the mentioned number.

The British media published some pictures showing the parents of the defendants at the guilty plea hearing, which was held at Harrow Crown Court, Hendon District Court, north of London. He also reported that the parents cried at the site when they saw their daughter appear from prison via video link.

This fact brought to mind the woman who entered Harry Styles' house in 2022 and the British fans when he belonged to the boy band One Direction who repeatedly sent him messages. The latest incident, according to The Sun, prompted him to hire a night watchman and install a panic lock on his bedroom door.
