Airbnb is once again renting out homes to fictional characters.
Three months after the offer of residence in Barbie’s dream house in MalibuAirbnb’s latest trick is a long weekend getaway in the Shrek Swamp.
“Ghoul fans can find peace and quiet as they watch the leaves fall in this muddy, moss-covered oasis called Shrek’s Swamp,” says the listing for the property based on the hit DreamWorks animated film from 2001.
The property is located in the Scottish Highlands and looks like a real-life recreation of a lively green ghoul’s abode, with oversized furniture and roots growing through the ceiling.
Guests can light ‘wax candles’, sit around the fire and eat fresh Donkey pancakes for breakfast.
As in the film, the bathroom is located in the property’s outbuilding and contains a toilet, sink, and shower.
The listing offers a two-night stay from October 27-29 for up to three guests. Airbnb will be available for bookings starting October 13 at 6pm GMT.
Although children are welcome as guests, they must be at least 5 years old.
If you are granted residency, please note that you will be responsible for your own travel to and from Scotland. This means that if you’re not Scottish, you’ll need to book your flight just two weeks in advance.
