A member of the Politburo of the Cuban Communist Party and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parilla, emphasized that the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of America – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) will always be able to count on Cuba’s solidarity.

At the event, taking place on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Rodriguez Parilla stressed that an increasingly interconnected world requires urgent joint action against big problems old and new, which will not be resolved as long as the dangerous, unjust and unjust international order continues. that we are suffering from.

The final declaration of the political council of the community bloc also denounced the criminal blockade and called for its unconditional and immediate lifting, in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly. He also demanded that the US government remove Cuba from its unilateral list, which has been widely rejected regionally and internationally, and which has a negative impact on the Cuban people.
The bloc ratified its support for the governments of Venezuela, Nicaragua and the Caribbean countries in their just demands for compensation for the consequences of colonialism.
It was agreed at the meeting to intensify cooperation, including multilateral cooperation, to help the most vulnerable countries.
