Apple Intelligence will also be coming to the Vision Pro headset, according to Bloomberg

Apple plans to introduce Apple’s new artificial intelligence (AI) system in its Vision Pro augmented reality headsets, a format that will initially be available only for the iPhone, iPad and Mac operating systems Applications or language, as well as the creation of custom images or emojis in different styles (graphics, animation etc.). This will be possible thanks to technology that understands users’ needs, in order to offer an “intuitive, integrated and private” experience. This was commented on a few weeks ago by Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering, Craigh Federighi, during the annual developers conference (WWDC), who announced that Apple Intelligence would be coming to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman has now announced via his weekly “Power On” newsletter that Apple Intelligence will also be coming to the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality (AR) viewer, though that integration “won’t happen this year.” Gorman noted that in order to integrate the ecosystem into their glasses, those from Cupertino will have to expand the device’s memory, which currently stands at 16GB. With that said, he commented, “As Apple continues to try to position the Apple Vision Pro as a work device, it would be beneficial to incorporate the features offered by Apple Intelligence.” Among them are writing tools, ChatGPT, and options like prioritizing notifications. It is worth noting that the company is currently working on the second generation of Apple Vision Pro – the first has already been launched in countries such as China or Singapore – and is also developing augmented reality glasses that will arrive in the coming years.
