By unanimous decision and by a massive advantage, two-time Olympic champion Arlen Lopez defeated an experienced contender with more than 40 fights as a pro on a card starring Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez and Daniel Lugo.
In Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mexico, the island boxer fought on May 11 against local Marco “Dorado” Reyes, a 36-year-old veteran who seemed to have seen his best times pass and outplayed him without issue.
According to specialists, Arlen won all the scheduled 8 rounds of the fight at 175 pounds, which is considered preparation for the next Olympic Games.
To date, the Cuban boxer has a professional record of three victories, two of which were by knockout. Meanwhile, Dorado Reyes now has 37 wins and 11 defeats in his career, with 28 wins by knockout.

Arlen used his quality and better boxing to dominate a 36-year-old man who is well past the splendor of his professional career.
In his previous fight, “La Maravilla” Lopez scored a 5-0 victory over Cesar Jurlin in an 80k bout during a doubles match between Cuba and France, which took place on April 5 in Varadero.
