Artist Oscar Murillo Opens Collaborative Exhibition at Tate Modern

London (United Kingdom), July 20 (EFE).- Colombian artist Oscar Murillo invites children and adults to pick up their brushes, become artists and leave their footprints on the walls of his exhibition “Flooded Garden”, a collaborative exhibition that opens on Saturday in the legendary Turbine Room at Tate Modern in London. Translation: “Oscar[Murillo]invites people to paint with water, a recurring theme in his career, to remember his journey from Colombia to the UK when he was 10 years old and as an idea of ​​beauty and disruption, so we are inviting people to paint their water within this space. Translation 2: “We have five layers and 600 metres of canvas, so when we feel it is starting to fill up, these paintings will rise above the second layer and we will also have a space on the bridge at the entrance, where we will create a kind of ‘cocoon’” with paintings inspired by Monet.
