Ether also rose along with all 10 other volatile cryptocurrencies, with Solana and Litecoin posting the biggest gains. The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies has held above $1 trillion for the eighth day in a row, the longest streak since August 2022.

Bitcoin was trading 3.2% higher at $23,764 in the 24 hours to 8 am in Hong Kong, after hitting an overnight high of $23,918. It has risen 4.6% in the past week. Ether rose 4.7% to $1,645 Monday morning and 1.1% over the past week, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
Solana, a network backed by Sam Bankman-Fried, rose 8.9% to $26.11, for a weekly gain of 7.8%, as the network continues to recover from FTX-related damage.
Litecoin surged 6% to trade at $94.98, taking its weekly gains to 8.4%, after reporting that its network had seen no downtime in its 11 years of existence.
The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies increased by 3.2% to $1.08 trillion, while the total trading volume increased by 38% to $51.28 billion.
