BTS member Jungkook will release his first solo album in November

South Korean band BTS singer Jungkook will release his first solo album on November 3. The album will be called “Golden” (“Golden” in English), in reference to one of the nicknames by which fans refer to Jungkook, “the maknae (Korean term for the youngest member of a music group) of Gold.” It will contain 11 songs, as stated today in a statement issued by BigHit Music.

According to the agency, “Golden” seeks to highlight the “golden moments” of Jungkook, 26 years old, whose real name is Jeon Jong Kook, as an artist and will “unreservedly reveal his true identity.” Jungkook made his solo debut last July with the song “Seven,” which achieved great success on the charts in many countries, and last Friday, September 29, he released his second song as a soloist, “3D.”

The youngest member of the famous South Korean band took advantage of the break that BTS is currently experiencing, which announced last year that it would choose a break that would last until at least 2025, to release its first works abroad. Bloc.

The seven band members wanted to use this time to complete their military service, which is mandatory for able-bodied men in South Korea, and focus on personal projects. On September 22, Suga, along with Jin and J-Hope, became the third member of the group to start the mandatory feature.

In his case, Suga will work, for at least 18 months, as a social services official, after he was exempted from military service, apparently due to a shoulder injury, which already forced him to undergo surgery in 2020.
