China at the forefront of the global robotics industry

China It has more than 190,000 valid patents in the robotics industry worldwide, representing about two-thirds of the global total.

This data puts the country at the forefront of technological innovation, expanding applications and governance in this sector at the international level, according to what was reported during the World Robot Congress 2024 in this capital.

On the first day of the event, it was announced that robots have made progress in advanced technologies such as perceiving information from multiple sources and natural interaction between humans and machines.

Similarly, the performance and safety levels of industrial robots, such as welding and painting robots, and service robots, such as surgical and logistics robots, have been continuously improving in recent years.

Official data showed that for the past 11 consecutive years, China has been the world’s largest market for industrial robots.

At a robotics event in the capital, it was learned that the density of robots in manufacturing has reached 470 units per 10,000 workers, an increase of nearly 19 times in the past decade.

International Federation of Robotics President Marina Bell praised the Asian giant’s achievements in robotics the previous day, noting that the country is the world’s largest consumer and producer of robots.

The World Robot Conference 2024 will continue until August 25 under the theme “Developing New Productivity and Sharing a New Intelligent Future.”

According to the organizers, the exhibition part of the event will highlight technological innovation and application achievements, with 169 companies participating and showcasing more than 600 innovative products, including 60 new launches and 27 humanoid robots on display.
