Australia’s Michael Cheika, coach of Argentina rugby team Las Pumas, today named a 31-man squad to open the international season in their Rugby Championship opener against New Zealand.
The Argentina national team match against the All Blacks will take place on Saturday, July 8 at 4:00 PM at the Malvinas Argentinas Stadium in Mendoza.
The Argentina national team is scheduled to travel to Mendoza this Sunday for the first match of the tournament involving Australia and South Africa.

The squad announced today features captain Julian Montoya, third row Pablo Matera, Ducuman’s Nicolas Sanchez and hooker Agustin Greavy.
Cheika also includes former Los Pumas ‘7 members Rodrigo Isgró and Luciano González, while the Olivos club’s starting scrum half in Ignacio Inchauspe will travel as a guest.
Also present are Lucio Zordini and Sebastian Cancellier, both called up for the first time by coach Ceiga.

The Pumas, after making their debut against the All Blacks, will train in Mendoza for the rest of the week before traveling to Australia to face the “Wallabies” on Saturday 15th, which will be played at Compbank Stadium in Sydney.
Finally, in the third date of the Rugby Championship, a reduced version, Las Pumas visit South Africa on Saturday, July 29 at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
