Delta and JetBlue announced new routes from New York to destinations in the Caribbean and South America. Jetblue will operate from John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK), while Delta will operate from LaGuardia Airport.
Jetblue is resuming daily service to Bermuda, having not operated this daily service since April 2014. It will operate a daily service to Nassau on an A320, effective March 30. Similarly, it will add two frequencies per week to Curaçao from April 6,
For its part, Delta has requested permission from the Ministry of Transportation to begin its operations in Argentina to land at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as of December 16.
As mentioned REPORTUR.usAnd American and Jetblue in December said they would add flights in the spring of 2023 from New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Boston’s Logan Airport, thus growing the Northeast Alliance (NEA). (American and Jetblue are adding routes from New York and Boston at reduced rates.)
The new NEA lines will reach 45 of the top 50 domestic markets in the United States. The alliance will operate more than 500 daily flights from New York airports and nearly 200 flights from Boston through 2023.
