Deny K & Ángel Dior’s “WOA” wins New Latin Music poll

Deny K and Ángel Dior’s new song, “WOA,” topped the new Latin music poll this week.

In the poll published on Friday (June 27) – in support of the Nueva Música Latina report and playlist curated by the editors of Nueva Música Latina magazine painting Latin and Spanish bulletin board – Fans voted the emerging artist collaboration as their favorite release of the week.

“WOA” received more than 50% of the votes, beating other releases that included Manuel Turizo’s emotional “Dios te cuide,” Alvaro Soler’s summer anthem “Te imaginaba,” and “El cielo te mandado para mí” Ha*Ash and “11”. :11” by Buscapola, his first single in four years.

In second place came the song “OOTD” by Xavi, with 42% of the votes. The Mexican-American artist’s latest song stays true to the laid-back, romantic style he’s known for, but also leans a little more towards a faster tempo, and is a preview of his upcoming album.

Deny K, an emerging Colombian artist signed to Empire Records, joins Dominican rapper and singer Ángel Dior, who is coming off a string of major collaborations, including a song with Karol G (“Ojos Ferrari”) and a performance alongside Bad Bunny during the Puerto Rican star’s show In the Dominican Republic. A quintessential club track, “WOA” is driven by a hypnotic and captivating dembo beat. The music video was filmed in Miami and was directed by Robot Vision.
