Do you know how to lock WhatsApp chats with your fingerprint? We explain step by step

The instant messaging application WhatsApp a few days ago announced a new setting for its chats, where you can now create a file private folder with conversations that You can only enter with your fingerprint or a password.

Step by step to block chats

This new setting is very simple, you just need to go to the WhatsApp application and then choose the chat or group that you particularly want.

Once you get the chat name, you have to click on it and go to the list. There you will find at the bottom an option that says Chat ban.

When you click on this option, blocking options will appear, which can be, with Password, fingerprint, and face ID on some devices.

Next to the “Archived” option, you will find the “Locked Chats” folder and this is how the chats you want to keep private will be.

Please note that this option It will not crash the conversation on all devices Any chats you set privately will appear without this option.

“Over the next few months, we will be adding more options to lock chats, such as the ability to lock chats on paired devices and create a custom password for your chats that is different from the one you use on your phone,” the app said.
