Samuel Case, better known as Sam Case, is one of today’s greatest mountain bikers. However, his sporting career was very different from that of any European cyclist. Case grew up in rural New Zealand, specifically on a farm, and fought very hard to get where he is today through non-linear evolution.
As a member of the Alpecin-Deceuninck team for the past three seasons, Sam Case’s success has been far from an upward trajectory.
