The Ministry of Health has reported the new maximum number of daily cases of COVID-19 so far this month, with 17,432 infections.
So far, 5,940,518 cases have been detected in Mexico since the beginning of the epidemic, of which an estimated 102,737 are active, due to signs and symptoms in the last 14 days.

Additionally, the agency has confirmed 42 more deaths from COVID, so there are at least 32,553 recognized deaths from the disease.
According to the daily technical report, the infection rate reached 75.4 cases per 100,000 people. The states with the highest prevalence are Mexico City, Baja California Sur, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Yucatan, Nuevo Leon, Colima, San Luis Potosi, Nayarit and Campeche.
