Increase power availability with the new Riello UPS Sentryum models from 60 to 120 kVA

UPSA company of the Riello Elettronica group, one of the main producers of uninterruptible power supplies and photovoltaic inverters worldwide, has just announced the expansion of the Sentryum range by adding new models of 60, 80, 100 and 120 kVA. With 3-phase inputs and outputs, nominal unit power factor and VFI-SS-111 compliant online dual-conversion technology, these new sizes complement the 10 to 40 kVA current line.

Designed and manufactured using the latest technology and components, Sentryum models are equipped with dual-core DSP (Digital Signal Processor) processors, three-level inverter circuitry, and resonance control. These three features ensure maximum protection for critical loads, minimizing impact on core systems while improving energy efficiency.

For all these reasons, the Sentryum is an ideal solution for installations with limited availability of mains power, when the UPS must be supported by a generator or where there are loads that generate symmetric currents.

Thanks to its control system, this UPS allows to reduce the harmonic distortion of the output voltage to values ​​\u200b\u200bof less than 1% with linear resistance loads and up to 1.5% with nonlinear loads. Thus, it guarantees fast response to load changes and perfect sinusoidal voltage in any situation.

A distributed parallel configuration allows you to connect up to 8 drives to a redundant (N+1) or capacity parallel system, providing exceptional expandability. The UPS continues to operate in parallel, even if the loop cable is cut.

Sentryum models have undergone certified seismic testing by accredited third-party laboratories, ensuring they comply with regulations requiring seismic compliance according to ICC ES AC156 (2020).

In addition, all models are equipped with an intelligent battery management system, which provides a series of battery management and optimization functions to ensure optimal performance and extend battery life. It supports lead-acid (VRLA), AGM, GEL, open-cell, and nickel-cadmium batteries, as well as alternative backup power sources such as lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors. Their availability of charging current up to 30 amps makes them well suited for applications that require a longer battery run time.

Finally, the Sentryum is equipped with a color touch screen that allows you to quickly and easily view all UPS information.
