James Corden broke the silence about the restaurant incident

(CNN) – When it comes to all the drama surrounding a temporary ban on entering the famous New York restaurant, James Corden describes it all as “very ridiculous.”

In an interview with the New York Times to promote his upcoming series on Amazon, “Mammals,” Corden said that one of the restaurants in the restaurant where he was having dinner with the newspaper reporter quarreled with her waitress because she didn’t like her eggs.

“It happens every day,” Corden said. “It’s happening in 55,000 restaurants right now. It’s always about eggs.”

He added, “Can you imagine now, if we just criticized her on Twitter? Would that be fair?” “That’s my point. He’s crazy.”

Earlier this week, the Late Night host was briefly removed from Balthazar Restaurant by its owner, Keith McNally, who Post on Instagram that Corden was “the most abusive client of Balthazar employees since the restaurant opened 25 years ago.”

Among the incidents he mentioned was Corden getting upset after he finished “some egg whites” in an omelette of Gruyere egg yolks that his wife had ordered.

After a brief period McNally will be posted Corden then called him and “apologised profusely,” according to the owner, and everything was resolved.

“I didn’t do anything wrong, on any level,” Corden told the New York Times, adding that he wouldn’t have the interview canceled because it was too difficult to talk about.

“I was there. I understand.”

“I feel bad about the whole thing,” Corden said. “Because I think it’s ridiculous.” “I don’t think it’s up to either of us. It doesn’t suit you. It definitely doesn’t deserve your post.”
