next one Feb 24 goes on sale Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxethe remake of the video game that was originally released for the Nintendo Wii during 2011.

Prior to this release, Nintendo announced that this upgrade will include a new copy ability for the pink hero: sand power.

Of course, this option wouldn’t mean a shape-shifting power in the vein of the classic Sandman facing Spider-Man, as this new ability would only give Kirby the ability to control sand.

“Use it to change the arena into a variety of shapes, from a fist to a fortress, and take on even the toughest enemies,” the company promises.

The next picture is an example of grip strength, while in the header of this note you can see the use of sand to remove the castle.

Shinya Kumazaki, who has been working on the saga since Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, was the director of this video game. His first title with the HAL Laboratories studio was Kirby Super Star Ultra. He was also the director of the latest Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Other new features announced for this deluxe edition include a Mecha ability, new graphics and also mini-games.
