Knicks: Jalen Brunson breaks his hand and doesn’t finish Game 7

Jalen Brunson did not finish Game 7 against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday due to a fracture in his left hand.

After not returning to the bench, the Knicks ruled Brunson out for the remainder of the game between the third and fourth quarters.

New York trailed for most of the game and lost 130-109.

Bronson’s injury to the hand from which he was shot was the latest in a series of injuries to New York in recent weeks. The other star of the team, Julius Randlenever returned this season after suffering a shoulder injury during a game here at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 27 against the Miami Heat.

The team’s largest acquisition at the trade deadline, Bojan BogdanovicHe also lost this season after undergoing surgery for an injury to his left foot after the Philadelphia 76ers striker, Nicolas Batumfell to him in Game 4 of New York’s first-round series against Philadelphia.

Josh HartMeanwhile, he was questionable for Game 7 with an abdominal issue, but he played.

Brunson has been one of the biggest stars of the playoffs, entering Sunday’s game averaging a league-leading 33.7 points in 12 games these playoffs for the Knicks, becoming a cult hero in the Big Apple in the process.
