The Head of State, while chairing the fifth meeting of the National Defense and Security Council for the period 2021-2026 in the capital, indicated that this armed force is organized in an organized, cohesive and strong direction.
Lam also pointed out the building of a transparent, strong, orderly, elite and modern public security force that responds to the needs and tasks of the new situation.
In this regard, he assessed that so far the organization and organization of the police force at four levels has been basically completed to ensure the security of the country and every citizen, and create conditions for social and economic development. In the context of complex and unpredictable developments in the international arena, the President stressed, as quoted by VNA, that the National Defense and Security Council has analyzed and made assessments on the global and regional situation and its impacts on Vietnam.
The president also stressed the need to closely monitor, analyze, assess and forecast global and national conditions, especially emerging and strategic issues that may affect the country’s defense and security, to advise the Party and the state on policies and measures to avoid being negatively affected or surprised by any possibility.
