During the first quarter of the year, LATAM Airlines recorded good operational performance in terms of capacity and passenger traffic.

According to the company’s operational statistics for the month of March 2024, It carried 20.2 million passengers in the first three months of the yearThis represents an increase of 19.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.

This increase is mainly due to the 32.5% growth in the international sector
And 26.0% in the local markets of Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, in addition to 9.1% in the local market in Brazil.

In March 2024 alone, it carried 6.7 million passengers, indicating an increase of 16.9% compared to the same month of the previous year.

Moreover, in terms of capabilities, Its consolidated offering increased by 17.5% in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period of the previous years. In March, this increase reached 17.8%.

Regarding combined passenger traffic, the company announced a growth of 22.3% during this quarter compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the consolidated load factor in March reached 83.1%, representing an increase of 3.0 percentage points compared to the same month of the previous year.

Finally, in terms of cargo, capacity measured in available ton-kilometres (ATK) increased by 13.8% compared to March 2023, reaching 655 million ATK.
