Logisfashion, a Spanish company specializing in logistics and distribution services for companies operating in the fashion and lifestyle sector, has announced the opening of a new logistics center in Latin America, located specifically in Panama, through which it seeks to expand and strengthen its operational capacity at the international level.
The complex operates in the Cocosolito Industrial Zone of the Colón Free Zone and has an area of 16,600 square metres, making it the second largest for Logisfashion in the region. Inside, there are two floors for operations, as well as two sets of elevators, cargo and advanced technologies.
“This distribution center, due to its special conditions in the Kowloon Free Zone, enjoys several tax benefits for customers and acts as a cross-border hub for the region. In this way, it allows us to prepare non-nationalized inventory orders for distribution to stores and distributors in Central America, South America and the Caribbean,” explains Logisfashion in a statement.
The company also states that with this strategic expansion movement, it reaches a total of 39,100 square meters of operating capacity in Panama, spread across its four hubs.
“The opening of this new center in Panama marks a new growth milestone and cements Logisfashion’s position in the region since our arrival in 2015. Our goal is to continue to offer flexible logistics solutions adapted to our customers’ needs, as well as to strengthen our position as logistics specialists in Latin America,” he highlights. The spotlight is on Diego Larrañaga, General Manager Supply Chain at Logisfashion.
The company accelerated its business in Panama due to its advantageous geographical location, highlighting the Central American country as an important strategic hub for logistical connectivity in Latin America and a world trade center due to its connections with the United States and Europe.
In this way, Logisfashion reinforces its international expansion strategy and advances its growth path with the aim of reaching 160 million euros in turnover by the end of 2023.
In addition to Panama, Logisfashion has a presence in other Latin American countries such as Mexico, Chile, and Colombia.
