Mana, Fuerza Regida, Alejandro Fernandez and Junior H will headline La Onda, a packed two-day festival scheduled to take place June 1-2, 2024 at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa, California. The program also includes Farruko, Eslabon Armado, Café Tacvba, Los Ángeles Azules, Mon Laferte and more.
The new festival was created by Latitude 38 of Dave Grahamthe Live Nation-backed company that produces Napa’s award-winning annual BottleRock Festival, and director of Maná, Jason Gardner. Graham, who grew up studying Spanish in school and speaks only Spanish with his children at home, always wanted to create an event for Napa Valley’s thriving Hispanic community, which now represents 41% of the area’s population.
“About 14% of Bottle Rock attendees are Latino, and for some time we have wanted something they could call their own,” says Graham, who led the Bottle Rock Initiative effort. Booking In collaboration with Gardner W Jorge Garcia, Manuel Moran And Han Sheffer From Live Nation.
Taking place the weekend following BottleRock, La Onda will offer a premium experience with two full days of music, regional Latin cuisine, drink specials, elevated and shaded lounges and viewing options, as well as immersive activities including spa relaxation, a dance club and a chill disco.
“Jason took me under his wings, so to speak, and Jorge, Hans, Manuel and those guys really helped me understand La Onda once I described what we wanted it to be,” says Graham. “Everything from organizing the programming the right way to finding support on Live Nation and making it feel authentic to the audience. “We want the Latino community to feel part of La Onda and to be celebrated at the festival.”
