She is not a cat, but she has many lives to live. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues to sweep the Nintendo Switch. The original Wii U game has expanded into Hybrid Kyoto with a new DLC pack, which will arrive in the fourth installment on March 9. This bundle will include two new cups, which will feature tracks from classic Game Boy Advance, GameCube, Nintendo DS and Wii games.
All 4 delivery contents of the Bonus Tracks Pass
Fruit cup:
- Drifting in Amsterdam – Race through quaint city streets and fields filled with colorful tulips on this track inspired by the original Mario Kart Tour Amsterdam.
- Parque de la Rivera – waterfalls and bridges in a forest full of hairpin turns and vegetation on a straight track from Mario Kart: Super Circuit.
- DK Summit – Slide down the hills of the curvy Mario Kart Wii winter track with lots of ramps and some cool carvings.
- Yoshi’s Island – Enjoy this all-new course inspired by Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
Boomerang Cup:
- Bangkok Sunset – Golden skies, shimmering river canals, and gorgeous scenery stand out in this original Mario Kart Tour.
- Mario Circuit – Revisit the hills and loops around Peach’s Castle on this track inspired by Mario Kart DS.
- Waluigi Stadium – Get ready to dodge the many obstacles and jump off the ramps that make up this dirt track from Mario Kart: Double-Dash!!.
- Singapore Rush – Battle your way to first place as you outsmart Goombas on the colorful Mario Kart Tour arena.
In addition to all this, Birdo will also make his first appearance in this installment as a pilot (his first appearance in the saga was with Mario Kart: Double Dash for GameCube). Players will be able to choose from nine different colors.
There are still two more installments to be released. Bonus Tracks Pass can be purchased separately, but is included with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
