The games arriving next week have been officially announced in the Xbox Game Pass catalog, and another year, we find ourselves in for a surprise. It comes to MLB show 23the game responsible for Sony San Diego -that by saying, PlayStation Studios– , which will be available from the day it is launched on the subscription service Microsoft.
It should be remembered that despite PlayStation Studios developing the franchise, Sony lost exclusivity over the license two years ago, making the franchise available not only on Xbox consoles, as it was, but also on Nintendoswitch, which will have its own version. This is exactly the same in terms of content, though there are the obvious graphical downgrades to enable this game to run on a mixture of Nintendo.
However, it is surprising that both companies were able to agree on another year to release the game directly on Game Pass, but that is the case. In this way, while subscribers to the service will be able to get it “for free”, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players will have to pay its full price, i.e. 69.99 euros in both versions.
