With classes completed and 1,100 athletes competing, the 5150 Triathlon Championship was held in Buenos Aires, a competition organized by the Argentine Ironman in Palermo.

After an equal duel between the first two, Geronimo Diritti won the general classification with a time of 1 hour, 57 minutes and 17 seconds. The podium was completed by Martin Reynoso, who had a time of 2 hours and 45 seconds.

Among the women, Gabriella Karina topped the podium with a time of 2 hours, 15 minutes and 31 seconds. Lucia Debern completed the circuit in second place with a time of two hours, 15 minutes and 38 seconds, and in third place came Brenda Rosso, winner of the 2022 edition, who this time completed a time of two hours, 16 minutes and 26 seconds.

The test also saw the presence of Romina Palacio Ballena, who, being a professional athlete, competed in a participatory manner. The only national runner to break 9 hours in an Ironman race over the full distance, she was the first woman to complete the course in 2 hours, 9 minutes, 47 seconds.

This year, Buenos Aires has an important international calendar of street competitions. In addition to the half marathon that was held on August 27 with the participation of more than 20,000 participants and the Ironman 5150, September 24 will be the Buenos Aires Marathon, and on October 29 the Ironman 70.3 race will be held with the participation of 1,400 people. Athletes seeking to complete 1,900 meters of swimming, 90 kilometers of cycling and 21 kilometers of running.
