Netflix is looking for a new flight attendant to join its “dream crew” and is willing to pay upwards of a quarter of a million dollars for the right person.
The broadcasting giant is hiring chief flight attendants for one of its private jets and is based in San Jose, California, near the company’s Los Gatos headquarters.
In addition to normal responsibilities, such as conducting pre-flight cabin inspections and conducting safety briefings, the new assistant will be responsible for warehouse maintenance, according to Job description.
The flight attendant will also be required to work on the Gulfstream G550 aircraft as needed.
The company says that candidates must “demonstrate professional representation of Netflix to fly At all times while performing the duties of the role,” says applicants, they should embrace the Netflix culture and be able to “work with a little direction and a lot of self-control and self-motivation.”
Candidates are expected to be able to help Netflix Aviation provide “discreet air transportation” and must be able to perform their jobs “with caution,” the company says.
Netflix has not provided a specific compensation range for this position, but lists the general market range for similar positions as between $60,000 and $385,000 in annual salary. The company says the final compensation amount will be determined by a “wide range of compensation factors,” including skills and experience.

The position requires “flexibility to work a varied work schedule that includes domestic and international travel, often requiring weekend work days, holidays, and extended travel periods,” as well as the ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds at a time.
