On this occasion, the training took place in San Martín de los Andes with the participation of local health workers from Junín de los Andes and Las Coloradas.
Yesterday, a new update session on CVA was held for the health teams involved in his care. It was dictated by the ACV Regional Network in the city of San Martín de los Andes, under the hashtag #CadaSegundoCuenta, as part of a training that began in March. In this case, the activity was carried out in the town hall, in which 50 people from the hospitals of San Martín de los Andes, Junín de los Andes and Las Coloradas participated.
The activity is carried out based on an agreement between the Neuquen County Department of Health and the Boehringer Ingelheim Laboratory, within the Angels project. The aim is to update information on stroke management.
The Minister of Health, Andrea Pavi, celebrated the continuation of this initiative, recalling: “As a result of a clear political decision, we are the first province in the country that has embraced and understood the importance of this issue and has been at the forefront of its enactment of Law 3263/20 on ACV and its regulations.”
With regard to training, Bev stressed: “It is necessary to carry out vigorous work in the area so that all people know how to quickly detect signs of stroke and have access to treatment in a timely manner to reduce the consequences that it can generate.”
It should be noted that on April 11, in the Scientific Office of Legislative Advice of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, the President of the Provincial Health Dossier presented, together with Miriam Vicente, the Neuquen experience of Law 3263/20, a pioneer in health matters and unique in Argentina, which allows us To continue working to reduce the impact of this disease in the county.
In this way, the update days are part of the training schedule that will be implemented in all health districts of the province, through the regional ACV network, led by Gabriela Parada. On this occasion, 50 people from the health system of the cities of San Martín de los Andes, Junín de los Andes and Las Coloradas, who have been involved in stroke care, participated.
As expected in the programme, two workshops were held: one on nursing homes in the first 24 hours of stroke and the other on simulating the resolution of clinical cases using Body Interact (virtual simulation).
On the other hand, two lectures were given: one on the pre-hospital approach to stroke and the other on the initial management of stroke. Similarly, example dialogue, questions, and experiments were created.
