Storms in the northeastern United States seriously affect airline routes, especially at New York airports. Among these airlines are United and Jetblue, which will have the highest percentage of delayed and canceled flights.
As of late Tuesday afternoon, 1,800 mostly domestic flights had been canceled and more than 7,000 flight delays were reported in the United States, most of them coming from the Northeast due to electrical storms.

Similarly, airlines such as Delta and American are on the list of countries most affected by weather, after JetBlue and United. Among the hardest hit airports are New York, like LaGuardia, which has 38% of canceled departures and 33% of delays, that’s more than 200 cancellations and more than 180 delays.
