He added: “We call on international health and humanitarian organizations to pressure that country to force it to stop its violations against medical centers, rescue groups and ambulances.”
Abu Ramadan pointed out that international laws protect health cadres and their crews while they are performing their humanitarian duty in treating the wounded and sick without obstruction or assault.
He stressed that we are making continuous efforts and permanent coordination with all international health organizations and friends from different countries of the world to meet the needs of the wounded and sick in the Gaza Strip.
Days ago, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that only 15 of the 36 hospitals in the coastal enclave were functioning, albeit only partially.
The ministry warned, in its regular report on the situation there, that those few centres face a serious shortage of staff and medical supplies, including anesthesia and antibiotics.
He pointed out that since October of last year, half a thousand workers in this sector have died in that area, hundreds have been injured and the army has arrested more than 300 others.
He added that the army also destroyed about 130 ambulances during its ongoing aggression on the Strip.
A few days ago, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society warned that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is catastrophic.
Almost all residents of this coastal enclave are suffering from severe food insecurity, the organization reported on the X social network.
The UN Food and Agriculture Organization also recently warned of the rising risk of famine for more than two million Palestinians living there.
