Airline chaos continues Monday, following last week’s CrowdStrike outage.

Delta Air Lines continues to experience significant delays in South Florida. In the afternoon, Miami International Airport saw 45 flight cancellations in 24 hours, and Fort Lauderdale International Airport saw 37 cancellations in a single day, according to FlightAware: most of the cancellations were from Delta Air Lines.

Delta Air Lines said in a statement Monday that it is “working around the clock to get this process to where it needs to be.”

The airline said the CrowdStrike outage affected its most critical system, which ensures all flights have a full crew in the right place at the right time.

As they continue to try to restart and fix, Delta is extending its travel waiver through July 23, offering refunds, points and rebooking options.

Delta has not provided a timeline for when it believes it will return to business as usual. For now, they have asked passengers to continue reviewing their bookings and visits. Delta.com For updates.
