The prime minister also spoke with LG Display CEO Jeong Cheol-dong, an entity that has already invested more than $5 billion in the Southeast Asian country, and with leaders of Daewoo E&C, Celltrion and GS Engineering and Construction, among others.

In the case of GS Engineering & Construction, group chairman Hu Yun-hong has expressed interest in participating in projects to build smart urban areas with a focus on IT parks concentrated in semiconductor industries and cutting-edge startups.
