Prosegur Forex launches currency exchange operations in Singapore and New Zealand

Prosegur Cash’s foreign exchange subsidiary, Prosegur Forex, has started operations at Singapore Changi International Airport and New Zealand’s Wellington International Airport. These new openings mark a milestone in the company’s global expansion, which is now present in 17 countries and 20 international airports.

At Changi International Airport, Prosegur Forex plans to open up to 18 offices distributed across four terminals. With this expansion, the company reaches a total of 200 currency exchange offices worldwide. The new branches’ offering includes exchange of up to 80 currencies, as well as additional services such as travel refunds, international bank transfers and withdrawals.

Prosegur Foreign Exchange branches in Changi offer foreign currency exchange in over 50 currencies, plus multi-currency ATMs that can dispense up to three major currencies. Services go beyond currency exchange and include banking assistance for dealers and personalized attention to travelers around the clock.

With the opening of 18 new branches in Singapore, Prosegur Forex has a total of 200 branches worldwide and plans to expand throughout 2024. The expansion in the Asia-Pacific region will create more than a hundred jobs and consolidate the company into a larger network. In major tourist areas in countries such as Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and Australia.

Besides Singapore, Prosegur Forex has started operations at Wellington International Airport, New Zealand’s second largest and busiest airport.
