Protest against a British company that exports Israeli weapons

London, August 8 (Prince Latina) Activists from the Palestinian Action Group occupied today a British company specialized in packing, transporting and exporting Israeli weapons, in protest against the recent bombings launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip.

In videos posted by the organization on social networks, two men in orange uniforms were seen hitting the sheet metal of Good Packing’s roof in Tamworth with sledgehammers.

The protesters, two of them by the police, also smashed windows and surveillance cameras, and threw red paint on the walls.

A spokesperson for Palestine Action, which has been campaigning since 2020 against all Israeli companies that manufacture arms in the UK and their trading partners, said there is no immunity for Israel or for anyone involved in the massacres we witnessed.

According to activists, Good Packing is packaging, transporting and exporting military drones manufactured by Elbit System, Israel’s largest arms manufacturer, at a facility nearby.

The Palestinian Labor Organization also accuses the Elbit System of using Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories to test weapons it produces before selling them on the international market.

Due to the ongoing protests, the Israeli arms manufacturer for weeks closed its headquarters in London, and at least one of its factories in the UK.

The Palestinian Labor Organization stated last June that we will not stop until we achieve the closure of the eight facilities that still exist in the country.

At least 45 Palestinians, including 15 minors, were killed this weekend in the Gaza Strip as a result of the bombing by Israel against alleged targets of Islamic Jihad, an organization fighting for the liberation of the occupied territories of Tel Aviv.
