Puerto Rico continues to add medals – Telemundo Puerto Rico

Puerto Rican athletes continued to add medals for Puerto Rico on Monday at the 2023 San Salvador Central American and Caribbean Games.

Kadisha Lopez, of Caroline, won the bronze medal in the 71-kilogram category at the Weightlifting Championships of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador 2023,

The athlete completed her medal-winning goal of 94 kilograms, in the snatch method to finish third. In the clean and jerk, he finished fourth with 116 kilograms.

This is the second medal awarded to a Puerto Rican delegation by weightlifters. The first was from Howard Roush at 55 kilos. Both are bronze.
