The Puerto Rican 3×3 national team fell again early in the morning at the World Cup in Belgium.
The Puerto Ricans fell to New Zealand 20-18 in a match that was eventually defined by New Zealand’s Toy Winward.
After the defeat Puerto Rico now has a record of 1-2.
As part of the group stage, the Puerto Ricans have one more game to play against France at 9:55 am (Puerto Rico time).
The Puerto Ricans are in Group A with Brazil, Serbia, France and New Zealand.
Now, Puerto Rico face several shots in the next game against France. To advance to the next round, the Puerto Rican team must win the match against the French team.
However, they will have to wait for the results of other matches in the same group. If New Zealand wins against Brazil and the Puerto Rican team wins, they will qualify for third place.
If Brazil beat New Zealand and Puerto Rico wins against France, the Puerto Ricans will take second place.
