Powered by Microsoft technology, this digital assistant will display the reason for the incoming call on the screen and offer the user the option to let the assistant answer it or intervene personally.
The key to this technology is its ability to make AI-generated responses as close and personal as possible to the user’s original voice and tone.
One critical aspect of this innovation is security. Microsoft has implemented strict measures to protect user identity and prevent identity theft. Each synthetic voice created carries a unique watermark identifying it as such, ensuring that the interactions conducted by the digital assistant are secure and verifiable.
Additionally, before users can use this feature, they must explicitly agree to the terms and conditions governing the use of their voice to create the synthetic replica.
