Beirut, April 5 – Secretary-General of the Lebanese Resistance (Hezbollah), Hassan Nasrallah, today affirmed his commitment, position and solidarity with Palestine, in his speech on the occasion of International Jerusalem Day (Al-Quds).
According to the leader of the Lebanese political and military movement, the Palestinian Al-Aqsa flood saga endangered the survival and existence of Israel, by exposing its fragility, weakness, and failure security-wise, politically, and morally.
At this point, Nasrallah pointed out that the period before the Al-Aqsa flood is not the same as the period after it in all respects for the Israeli enemy, friends, the region and the world.
In this regard, he stressed that the American-Israeli assessments confirm that what happened on October 7 nearly destroyed the Zionist entity.
In the midst of the ongoing Israeli aggression, the Hezbollah leader pointed out that after six months of war on Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu, Yoav Galant and many others are still out of their minds.
He stressed that the massacres and hunger war practiced by Tel Aviv in the Gaza Strip are for pressure and threats because they have no horizon, neither on the ground nor in negotiations.
On this occasion, the head of the Lebanese Resistance stressed that the martyrs of the recent Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus “have historical value for us.”
In this issue, the personality of the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards in Syria and Lebanon, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, was highlighted.
Nasrallah added in his speech that the decisive declaration of support for the Palestinian cause by Imam Khomeini (the historical leader of the Islamic Revolution) was one of the main reasons for the wars that Iran faced.
He pointed out, by the way, that Tehran's position has represented support since 1979 for everyone who resists the Israeli entity, and its support has many equations.
He added, “Iran presents its best leaders and has a decisive position, baptizing it with the blood of its martyrs.”
In this line of the message, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah called on resistance fighters to remain safe and calm “because Iran does not abandon the oppressed or its friends.”
He added that friendship with Iran is for every honorable resistor a symbol of human dignity and honour, and the one who should be ashamed is the one who normalizes relations with the enemy.
In this context, Nasrallah indicated that the alliance with the Islamic Republic is a source of pride, honor, and human dignity at this time, and reaffirmed the position of the peoples of the axis of resistance to defeat the Zionist entity, “but they are weak in spirit.” They cannot see it due to their ignorance.”
The leader of Hezbollah said during his speech on the occasion of International Jerusalem Day, that anyone who normalizes relations with Israel and justifies its crimes should be ashamed.
