Commons, a left-wing formation integrating the left-wing list unit for Chileannounced that it would seek to “correct the ballots” in the Tarapaca region, in the north of the country, where an update of the electoral district ended with the abolition of a seat in the elections for members of the constitutional councils, in a movement that benefited the Republican Party.

A change in the counting of votes in Kulshan, a municipality on the border with Bolivia affected by the migration crisis, led to Romina Ramos losing her position in the Constitutional Council to Republican Sebastian Paraguez. This caused the far-right party to add 23 elected members, leaving the ruling party with only 16 members.
