Russia and Bolivia refuse to interfere in Latin America and the Caribbean

“We have coherent and relevant visions regarding the importance of compliance with the principles of international law contained in the UN Charter, including respect for sovereignty, non-interference in the internal affairs of states and the resolution of disputes through peaceful dialogue,” he said.

On this subject, the Bolivian Foreign Minister said that during the talks with his Russian counterpart, he expressed his country’s concern over the tense panorama observed in international politics in the scenarios of world powers.

He stressed that “Bolivia is a peaceful country through the definition of its constitution and we are interested in not losing peace in the world and that any hostile situation can be resolved by the great powers with the necessary maturity.”

In this regard, Lavrov stressed the parties’ interest in revitalizing and deepening cooperation within the framework of the Group of Friends in Defense of the United Nations Charter, which met in recent days during the recent summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.
